BIGZO
Terms & Community Rules
These are the rules for using Bigzo. They mirror the terms you accept in the app — if the two ever disagree, the version in the app at the time you accepted is the one that binds you.
1. Who can use Bigzo
Bigzo is for adults only. You must be 18 or older. Your date of birth is checked at sign-up and enforced on our servers. Misrepresenting your age ends the account immediately.
2. Content rules — no nudity
Nudity and sexually explicit imagery are not allowed on Bigzo. Anywhere. That means profile photos, photos sent in chat, and photos in private albums — whether or not the person receiving them agreed to it. Private does not mean exempt.
Also prohibited:
- Any sexual content involving minors, or anyone who appears to be a minor.
- Content shared without the consent of the people shown in it.
- Escort services or other paid sexual services.
- Using someone else's photos as your own.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, and spam.
- Reporting someone falsely, or to harass them. Reports are read by people and acted on; a report made to punish someone, to win an argument, or to get an account removed out of spite is itself a serious violation, and repeated or deliberate false reports lead to suspension or a permanent ban.
We remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or permanently ban the accounts responsible. Illegal content is reported to the relevant authorities.
3. Reporting and blocking
Every profile, conversation and group has report and block. Reports go to a moderation queue with a defined response time; severe categories (anything involving a minor, non-consensual content, or illegal activity) are prioritised.
Attach the message you are reporting. Our moderators see your report and the message you attach to it — they do not read your conversation, because your report must not hand anyone your chat history. That is deliberate, and it means a report with nothing attached is one person's word: we can act on it far less confidently, and often not at all. If the behaviour is in a message, point at the message.
False reports carry the same consequences as the conduct they allege. Reporting someone you simply disagree with, or to have their account removed, is a violation in itself — see the rules above — and can end in a permanent ban of the account that filed it.
Blocking always works and is never taken away from you. It is instant, works in both directions, and immediately cuts that person's access to your private albums and your location. If you block someone you share a group with, one of you leaves that group — the app tells you which before you confirm — because two people who have blocked each other cannot sit in the same room.
4. Your location
Bigzo never gives another user your exact coordinates. Others see a distance, which you can hide. Live location sharing is off unless you turn it on for one specific person, is coarsened to about 50 metres, and can be stopped at any time. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
5. Groups
A group is a conversation with more than one other person, started from a chat. Two rules decide everything else about it:
- Nobody is added to a group without agreeing. The person who made the group decides who may come in, and you decide whether to accept. An invitation is not membership: until you accept, you see who invited you and nothing else — not the messages, not who else is in there.
- What you share leaves when you do. If you leave a group, or a block takes one of you out of it, the photos you sent there and any album you shared with it stop being shown to that group immediately.
Two things about groups you should know before you use one:
- An album shared with a group is shared with whoever is in the group at the time, including people admitted after you shared it. The app shows you the current member list when you share, and you can stop sharing at any moment.
- A group is not private in the way a one-to-one chat is. Anything you write or send is seen by everyone in the room, and they can screenshot it. We can stop showing our copy; we cannot take back a copy someone already made.
Group messages are deleted after 60 days, and after 7 days in a group created for a specific meet-up. A group is deleted entirely a week after it is closed. If someone reports a message, we keep that message for as long as the report is open.
6. AI companions
Some accounts on Bigzo are AI companions operated by us. Every one of them says so in its profile. We will never present an AI account as a real person.
7. Your account
You are responsible for your account and the content you put on it. You can delete your account at any time.
8. Meeting people is your decision, and your risk
Bigzo helps you find people. It does not vouch for them.
We do not run background checks. We do not verify identity, age beyond the date of birth someone enters, relationship status, health status, or anything else a person puts on their profile. People lie on dating apps. Some of them are dangerous.
Meeting someone from the internet in person carries real risk, and that risk is yours to weigh. Meet in public first if you can. Tell someone where you are going. Trust the feeling that tells you to leave. If something happens, contact the police — and report the account to us so we can act on it.
9. What Bigzo does not promise
We work hard on this app, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it will be free of faults, that distances or profiles are accurate, or that a message will always arrive. We do not promise any particular result — matches, dates, or anything else.
10. Our responsibility, and its limits
We are responsible for our own conduct: for running the service with reasonable care, for handling your data as the Privacy Policy says, and for acting on reports.
We are not responsible for what other users do — what they write, what they send, who they turn out to be, or what happens when you meet them.
Where the law allows us to limit what we owe you, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, or €50 if you paid us nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intent or gross negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If a court finds any part of this section unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
11. If you cause us a problem
If you break these rules or the law and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover what that costs us — damages, settlements, and reasonable legal fees. This applies to your own deliberate wrongdoing, not to ordinary use of the app.
12. Who you are dealing with, and where
The service is provided by Bigzo, registered in Belgrade, Serbia. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and disputes go to the competent court in Belgrade.
If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you rights you cannot be made to give up, those rights are unaffected by this section, and you can still bring a claim where you live. We have not agreed to arbitration and will not ask you to give up your right to go to court.
13. Changes
When these rules change materially we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version.
